But Where Will We All Commit Sodomy?

The same Supreme Court that ruled it was unconstitutional to ban sodomy among consenting adults just two short years ago ruled today that it was constitutional to seize your home.

A divided Supreme Court ruled that local governments may seize people's homes and businesses against their will for private development in a decision anxiously awaited in communities where economic growth conflicts with individual property rights.
Thursday's 5-4 ruling represented a defeat for some Connecticut residents whose homes are slated for destruction to make room for an office complex. They argued that cities have no right to take their land except for projects with a clear public use, such as roads or schools, or to revitalize blighted areas.
Justice John Paul Stevens lead the liberals on the Court and was joined by Anthony "I love the French" Kennedy to swing the decision against working class people. This is the most important ruling of this term - one which large majorities of Americans will surely oppose. I apologize for my ignorance - I had no idea it was even being debated. I was too busy worrying about things that honestly, in the whole scheme of things, are not as important.

Conservatives would be wise to point out that liberal judges are only interested in privacy if it means ripping a near term "fetus" from a mother's womb moments before delivery or committing deviant sex acts. Senate Republicans should hammer Democrats on this ruling in response to any charges that they are "anti-choice." This ruling clearly sets a dangerous precedent for freedom loving folks...
