What Rove v. Plame Does For Us
Liberals have declared war on the Bush Administration over Karl Rove's role in "outing" Joe Wilson's wife. I don't think the story has legs, but we don't know all the facts yet. Since facts never really interest liberals, the President could potentially have a problem. He is in a moderate slump although economic indicators are up and most pollsters lie. That being said, President Bush needs his base.Bush needs Newt Gingrich and Peter King trashing Joe Wilson for the liar that he is. He needs me to write about it and he needs you to talk about. This is pure partisan politics and the bases are are staking their claims. Until Bush knows all the facts he is not really politically safe....... unless he keeps his base. AND what could the President do right now to keep the base behind him no matter what: Appoint Janice Rogers Brown to the Supreme Court.Liberals always take Rove's bait.
