Bush's First Big Mistake
The AP is reporting that President Bush is nominating Harriet Miers to replace Justice Sandra Day O'Connor. Miers has never been a judge, has no paper trail and is 60 years old. Clearly, she is not nearly as qualified as other known conservatives such as Luttig, Alito, or Janice Rogers Brown. This is a mistake and Dubya just proved to conservatives he is not interested in shifting the Court right. I am very disappointed.
